14.04.2017 Portimao

Nuit très calme, ancrés. A 8 h un bateau de croisière arrive, accompagné de son remorqueur. Au petit-déjeuner, Jens fait du pain grillé avec le pain acheté à Barcelone, début mars. Ce n’est pas bon signe, mais il n’est pas abimé, il doit être plein de conservateurs. Puis nous travaillons. Jens change le pavillon norvégien. J’avais pensé réparer de nouveau le vieux, mais les coins sont vraiment déchirés. Il met celui que nous trouvions trop grand, mais en fait ça va. Il range aussi le coffre tout derrière le cockpit, où sont les cordes. On doit avoir des km de cordes. Moi, je couds. Je change la fermeture éclair de la poche de mon anorak. Nous mangeons puis mettons l’annexe à leau pour aller à terre. La ville de Portimao est d’un côté de la baie et de l’autre côté, ce sont des plages, des falaises et de la nature. Nous allons côté nature. Joli chemin, beaucoup de fleurs et nous allons jusqu’au phare, ce phare qui n’en finissait pas d’approcher hier. Nous nous baignons sur une plage en dehors de la digue, donc dans la mer, pas dans le port et la température y est de 20 ⁰. Retour à Maja en annexe, blog, diner. Puis nous remontons l’annexe, nous partons demain de bonne heure. Jens a encore regardé la météo et elle est bonne. Ce sera du vent du nord mais pas fort, pas plus de force 3-4. Le vent dominant est du nord, et si on veut du vent du sud, il faut attendre longtemps. Cela devrait aller. Il va falloir faire un long bout, le premier port après avoir tourné le coin du Cap de São Vicente est Sines. Mais on y passera de nuit, donc nous espérons aller jusqu’à Sesimbra, un peu au sud de Lisbonne.

Very quiet night, anchored. At 8 am a cruise ship arrives, accompanied by its tug. At breakfast, Jens makes toast with the bread bought in Barcelona in early March. This is not a good sign, but it’s still good, it must be full of conservatives. Then we work. Jens changes the Norwegian flag. I had thought of repairing the old one again, but the corners are really torn. He puts the one we found too big, but in fact it’s OK. He also cleans the trunk behind the cockpit, where the ropes are stored. We must have miles of ropes. Me, I sew. I change the zipper of my anorak pocket. We eat then put the tender to the water to go ashore. The town of Portimao is on one side of the bay and on the other side are beaches, cliffs and nature. We go to natural side. Nice path, lots of flowers and we walk to the lighthouse, this lighthouse that it took so long to reach yesterday. We swim on a beach outside the dike, so in the sea, not in the harbor and the temperature is 20 ⁰. Back to Maja in the tender, blog, dinner. Then we take up the tender, we leave early tomorrow. Jens looked once more at the weather forecast and it's good. It will be north wind but not strong, no more than force 3-4. The prevailing wind is from the north, and if we want the wind from the south, we have to wait a long time. That should be fine. We’re going to make a long leg, the first port after turning the corner of Cap de São Vicente is Sines. But we will pass it by night, so we hope to go as far as Sesimbra, a little bit south of Lisbon.
