Légère consolation pour
les gens du nord: il fait gris et le vent est froid, on a même quelques gouttes
de pluis mais cela ne dure pas, le soleil apparait par moment. Nous retournons
au bureau du tourisme pour poser quelques questions à dame : que sont ces
constructions rondes de pierre qu’on voit partout ? Elle nous dit qu’elles
sont construites pour trois raisons : premièrement, pour retirer les pierres
des champs. Deuxièmement pour faire un abri pour les bêtes, il n’y a pas d’arbre
sur cette partie de l’ile, nord-ouest. Et enfin, les hommes les utilisaient
pour grimper dessus (d’où le bord « en escalier ») pour chasser. Nous
allons ensuite voir des bâtiments pré-historiques, à la sortie de la ville.
Retour à Maja et après-midi tranquille. Je classe mes photos, fait une entrée
de blog juste pour les fleurs, mets à jour mes « bleus » et fais le
blog, plus un peu de couture. Il
fait toujours du vent et gris.

Light consolation for
the people of the north: it is gray and the wind is cold, we even have a few
drops of rain but it doesn’t last, the sun appears at times. We return to the
tourist office to ask some questions to the lady: what are these round stone
constructions that we see everywhere? She tells us that they are built for
three reasons: first, to remove the stones from the fields. Secondly to make a
shelter for the animals, there is no tree on this part of the island, northwest.
And finally, the men used to climb on them (hence the edge "in
staircase") to hunt. We ride then to see pre-historic buildings, just
outside the city. Back to Maja and quiet afternoon. I class my photos, make a
blog entry just for the flowers, update my "blues" and make the blog,
plus a little sewing. It is still windy
and gray.
