01.05.2017 Cascais

Calme, peu de vent mais encore une forte houle, 4 m, en mer. Notre voisin allemand « Tao » part quand même. Ils vont aussi vers le nord, le capitaine dit qu’ils essayent et que si c’est trop dur, ils vont à Lisbonne. Nous travaillons un peu, Jens et moi, puis allons rendre visite à Søren et Astrid et faisons connaissance avec toute la famille. Le petit garçon de 6 ans jouent avec du Lego et la petite fille de 3 ans sourit beaucoup. Et départ pour une grande balade en vélo, nous essayons d’aller au Cabo da Roca, mais c’est à 21 km, on va voir. Nous reprenons donc le même chemin qu’avant-hier et continuons vers l’ouest. La route est agréable, ombragée, et monte tout le long mais raisonnablement. Beaucoup de circulation, voitures, taxis et bus. Nous montons, montons et devons redescendre vers le phare. Là, nous ne sommes pas seuls … Tout Cascais s’est donné rendez-vous au Cabo da Roca. On entend parler toutes les langues et les nombreux bus ont du mal à stationner. Nous déjeunons dans l’herbe et revenons par une route moins fréquentée et, en fait, plus courte et rapide. Nous avons fait 39 km en tout. Pour nous remettre, nous allons à la plage, beaucoup plus de monde qu’hier, bain de soleil et bain de mer, 16,5 ⁰ aujourd’hui. Jens va payer la marina, range les vélos, nous partons demain. Diner au bateau, puis nous sommes invités pour le dessert (des crêpes) sur Wicky, le bateau de Søren et Astrid. Le jeune couple est allé diner en ville et les grands-parents gardent les enfants, qui sont déjà couchés quand on arrive. Nous discutons bien. Ils sont allés en Norvège en bateau et ont passé plusieurs jours à Strusshamn, sur notre ile, Askøy.

Calm, little wind but still a high swell, 4 m offshore. Our German neighbor "Tao" leaves anyway. They also go north and the captain says they try and that if it's too hard, they go to Lisbon. We work a little, Jens and I, then we go to visit Søren and Astrid and get to know the whole family. The 6-year-old boy is playing with Lego and the 3-year-old girl smiles a lot. And now is our departure for a great bike ride, we try to go to Cabo da Roca, but it's 21 km, we’ll se. So we take the same way as we did the day before yesterday and continue west. The road is nice, shady, and rises all the time but reasonably. Lots of traffic, cars, taxis and buses. We climb, climb and have to go down to the lighthouse. There, we are not alone ... All Cascais is here at Cabo da Roca. We hear many different languages and the many buses have trouble parking. We lunch in the grass and return by a less frequented road and, in fact, shorter and faster. In all, we did 39 km. To refresh us, we go to the beach, much more crowded than yesterday, sunbathing and sea bathing, 16.5 ⁰ today. Then Jens goes to pay the marina, puts the bikes on Maja, we leave tomorrow. Dinner at the boat, then we are invited for dessert (pancakes) on Wicky, Søren and Astrid’s boat. The young couple went to dine in town and the grandparents are looking after the children, who are already in bed when we arrive. We talk about many things. They went to Norway by boat and spent several days in Strusshamn, on our island Askøy.
