07.03.2017. Barcelona

Tout d’abord, excusez-moi de ne pas vous avoir prévenu que nous partions le mercredi 8 mars pour Menorca. D’habitude je préviens quand il n’y aura pas de blog pour raison de longue traversée, mais là j’ai complèment oublié de le faire. Donc reprenons le mardi 7 mars :

Jens va chez le dentiste à 9 h 30. Heureusement qu’il part tôt, il se perd un peu mais arrive à 9 h 28. Dentiste sympa qui fait ce qu’il faut. Moi pendant ce temps-là, j’envoie deux cartes postales et renvoie la clé électronique du Club Nautico de L’Estartit que nous avons oubliée de rendre. Jens revient et nous allons nous balader dans les vieilles rues de Barcelone. Il fait beau et c’est très agréable. Lunch au bateau et juste après visite de Candelaria Zapp et de son fils Tehue et peu après arrivée d’Herman, de Paloma et de Wallaby. Pampa, leur fils ainé n’est pas venu.Quelle coïncidence que nous nous retrouvions ici. Ils nous mettent au courant de leur voyage, cela fait 14 ans qu’ils voyagent autour du monde avec leur voiture de 1928. Dimanche ils ont fait le rally Barcelone-Sitges et l’ont gagné ! Il faut dire que tous les autres ont fait un arrêt au milieu du rally et qu’eux ne le savaient pas et ne se sont pas arrêter. Ils étaient tout surpris d’être si applaudis à l’arrivée. Nous buvons un thé ensemble, les enfants lisent des bandes dessinées puis nous allons nous promener sur les pontons. Nous nous quittons en se demandant où et quand nous nous reverrons … Bonne chance à eux pour la fin de leur voyage. Comme c’est notre dernier soir, nous nous offrons des tapas et une bière. Nous passons devant un petit restaurant tout plein et tout bruyant et nous y rentrons. Nous avons de la chance d’avoir une petite table, juste après nous une queue de clients qui attendent une table s’allonge sur le trottoir. Très bonne tapas, et ambiance surprenante pour des gens du nord. Tout le monde parle fort et tout le temps, le vacarme est assourdissant mais aussi sympathique. Ce sont surtout des jeunes, je crois que nous sommes les plus vieux. Le jeune couple à côté de nous voit que nous regardons un plat qu’ils ont commandé et nous offrent de le gouter. Sympa. Puis retour à Maja, dernière vérification de la météo (bonne) et au lit. Nous partons demain pour Menorca.

First of all, I apologize for not warning you that we were leaving on Wednesday the 8th of March for Menorca. Usually I warn when there will be no blog because of a long crossing, but this time I forgot completely it. So let's resume on Tuesday, March 7:

Jens goes to the dentist at 9:30 am. Fortunately he leaves early, he gets a little lost but arrives at 9:28 am. A nice dentist who does the right thing. Me, during this time, I send two postcards and send the Club Nautico de L'Estartit’s electronic key that we have forgotten to give back when we left. Jens comes back and we go foa a walk through the old streets of Barcelona. It's beautiful and the weather is very nice. Lunch on the boat and just after Candelaria Zapp and her son Tehue arrive and shortly after Herman, Paloma and Wallaby. Pampa, their eldest son doesn’t come. What a coincidence that we meet again here. They tell us about their journey, it has been 14 years that they travel around the world with theirold car, a 1928 model. Sunday they made the rally Barcelona-Sitges and won it! It must be said that all the others made a stop in the middle of the rally and that they did not know and did not stop. They were very surprised to be so applauded on arrival. We drink a tea together, the children read comics and then we go for a walk on the pontoons. We part wondering where and when we’ll meet again ... Good luck to them for the rest of their journey. As it is our last night here, we go out to eat tapas and take a beer. We pass in front of a small restaurant full and noisy and we go in. We are lucky to have a small table, right after us a queue of guests waiting for a table forms on the sidewalk. Very good tapas, and a surprising atmosphere for us, northerners. Everyone speaks loudly and all the time, the noise is deafening but also funny. They are mostly young people, I think we are the oldest. The young couple next to us notices that we were looking at a dish they ordered and offered us to taste it. That’s nice. Then back to Maja, last checking of the weather forecast (good) and in bed. We leave tomorrow for Menorca.
