Gris, un vrai temps de Toussaint. Nous faisons deux lessives et deux séchages et je prends une douche. Les sanitaires sont dans un souterrain creusé dans la digue, on se croirait dans le métro, ce n’est pas « koselig » (agréable) du tout, mais l’eau est bien chaude. Puis nous faisons un grand tour en vélo, tout autour de la ville, en prenant une piste cyclable ou des petites rues. Nous voyons l’Etang de Thau, un grand étang derrière Sète, qui fait 20 km de long. La ville est construite à l’intersection de plusieurs canaux et il y a plusieurs ponts qui se lèvent, pour les routes et pour le chemin de fer. Nous rentrons pour le lunch, tard, restons un peu au bateau et repartons à pied sur la Corniche pour aller voir un fort qui abrite maintenant un théatre. Nous regardons aussi les vagues, il faudrait qu’elles baissent pour qu’on parte. Blog pour moi et travaille pour Jens. Il prépare un cours de SEISAN qu’il va donner à Lisbonne fin novembre. Nous avons repéré un restaurant qui a un menu à 13 € et y allons vers 20 h. Je me réjouissais de prendre une soupe de poisson en entrée mais ils n’en ont plus.  Nous prenons donc du calamar, puis des rougets accompagnés de riz au safran et de ratatouille. Et nous avons aussi un dessert, Jens prend un café gourmand (café servi avec quatre petits desserts) et moi une tarte au citron meringuée. C’est très bon, original, pas les sempiternelles frites et pas cher. Bon diner.

PS : Nina m’a fait remarqué une erreur dans le blog d’hier. Theo a eu le bavoir acheté ici en 2011 et non en 2013. C’était un autre voyage.

Grey, a real Toussaint weather. We do two washing and drying  and I take a shower. The bathrooms are in an underground dug in the dike, it feels like in the subway, this is not "koselig" (pleasant) at all, but the water is hot. Then we make a long bike tour, all around the city, taking a bike lane or side streets. We see the Etang de Thau, a large kind of salted lake behind Sète, which is 20 km long. The city is built at the intersection of several canals and there are several lifting bridges for roads and railway. We are back at Maja for a late lunch, remain a little on the boat and walk out again on the Corniche to see a fort that now houses a theater. We also look at the waves, they must become smaller before we leave. Blog for me and work for Jens. He is preparing a SEISAN workshop he will attend in Lisbon in late November. We spotted a restaurant that has a menu at 13 € and go there at 8 pm. I was looking forward to take a fish soup but it’s finished. So we take squid first then red mullet accompanied by saffron rice and ratatouille.And we also have a dessert, Jens takes a gourmet coffee (served with four small desserts) and me a lemon meringue pie. It's very good, original, not the chips which are served everywhere, and cheap. Good dinner.

PS: Nina noticed a mistake in yesterday blog. Theo got the bib bought here in 2011, not in 2013. It was another trip.
